Enjoy sipping on Artisan Drinking Chocolate made with Local Hawaiian Chocolate accompanied with unique flavored house made marshmallows and decadent dessert bites in the Veranda in celebration of our 60th Anniversary. Olivine is also known the ‘Hawaiian Diamond’.  Peridot is the gemstone version of Olivine, and the only native gemstone to Hawaii.  It is formed through the cooling of Lava.

Lauhala Weaving

at THE VERANDA

Hala weaving is a traditional practice to make items such as baskets, hats and mats from leaves of Hala trees. Watch Keoua Nelsen expertly weave together leaves. Keoua Nelson is from Kona and comes from a long line of lauhala weavers.
